Terms of Use
LAI Workforce Readiness · masterai.tech
Effective date: September 29, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Emerald EI Academy ("we," "us"), which operates LAI Workforce Readiness. By creating an account or using masterai.tech, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If your organization bought your seat, its written agreement with us also applies, and where the two conflict, that agreement governs.
1. The program
LAI Workforce Readiness is an online training program that teaches people to use AI well at work. It includes voice coaching sessions, an AI practicum and assessments. We may improve, change or retire parts of the program over time. We'll give organizations with active seats reasonable notice of any material change.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don't share your account or let someone else complete your training.
- If your employer provides your seat, your account is linked to your employer, and it can see the reporting described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Using the program
You agree not to:
- attempt to access other people's accounts or records, or parts of the program you aren't authorized to use
- copy, record, republish or share the program's content, including the coaching sessions, practicum cases, case documents, assessments and scoring materials
- share practicum cases or answers with other learners before they've completed them
- use the practicum AI assistant for anything other than the practicum
- enter other people's confidential or personal information, or your employer's confidential information, into the program. The practicum cases are fictional and supply everything you need.
- interfere with, reverse-engineer or overload the program
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
4. AI in the program
The coaches, the practicum assistant and the scoring are powered by AI. AI can be wrong. Nothing in the program is legal, medical, financial or professional advice. Your scores reflect your performance in this program, as judged against its standards. If you believe a score is wrong, email us and a person will review it.
5. Certificates and Training Records
A certificate and Training Record show that you completed this program at the level shown. They aren't a professional license, an accredited credential or a guarantee of job performance. We may withdraw a certificate that was earned in breach of these terms, for example if someone else completed the work.
6. Ownership
We own the program, including its content, coaching, cases, assessments, methods, names and software. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the program during your access period.
You keep ownership of what you write and say in the program. You give us permission to store it and process it to run the program, assess your work and produce your records, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use de-identified information, which can't be linked to you or your organization, to improve the program.
7. Fees
Organizations pay for seats under their order or agreement with us. Unless that agreement says otherwise:
- seats run for one year from activation
- fees are non-refundable once a seat has been activated
- seats may be reassigned only before the original learner starts training
Payments made online are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.
8. Ending your access
You can stop using the program at any time. You can also ask us to close your account. When we close it, we deactivate it: you can no longer sign in, and we stop sending you program email. Your training records are kept for the period stated in the Privacy Policy, so that your certificate stays verifiable and your organization keeps the records it paid for. Your access also ends when your seat's term ends, when your organization releases your seat, or if we close your account under section 3.
9. Disclaimers
The program is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the program will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that completing it will lead to any particular employment outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the program is limited to the amount paid for your seat in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date and tell you by email or in the program before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the program after that date means you accept the updated terms.
