Who we are
LAI Workforce Readiness is an AI-readiness training program operated by Emerald EI Academy ("we," "us"), Trumbull, Connecticut 06611. Questions about this policy or your information: info@emeraldeiacademy.com.
This policy covers the website at masterai.tech and the training program you use after signing in.
What we collect
When you create an account: your first and last name, email address and password.
When you set up your training: the name you'd like your coach to call you, your industry, which coach you chose, and whether you're currently employed or returning to work. We use these to tailor the training to you.
When your employer provides your seat: the company your account is linked to.
While you train:
- Voice coaching sessions. Your spoken conversation with the coach is converted to text as you speak. We keep the written transcript of each session. We do not record the audio of your sessions.
- The practicum. The messages you exchange with the practicum AI assistant, the case documents you attach, and when and at what step you asked the coach for help.
- Scores and records. Your scores and levels for each section, written summaries of what you demonstrated, notes on where you needed further explanation, and your progress over time, including the check-ins after the program.
When your organization buys seats: the purchaser's name, organization name, email address and number of seats. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store card numbers.
Technical information: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include error messages and request information. Your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting provider may record basic visitor statistics, such as pages viewed, device type and country.
We don't ask for your date of birth, home address, phone number, Social Security number or employment history.
How we use it
- To run the training: to set up your sessions, let the coach respond to you, and pick up where you left off.
- To assess your work: to score each section and produce your Training Record and certificate.
- To send you program email: session results, certificate notices and check-in reminders. We don't send marketing email.
- To give your employer the reporting described below, if your employer provides your seat.
- To keep the program secure, fix problems and improve the training.
How we use AI. The coaches, the practicum assistant and the scoring are all powered by AI models. Your responses are scored by AI against the program's standards. If you think a score is wrong, email us and a person will review it.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What your employer sees
If your employer provides your seat, your company's program administrator can see:
- your name and email address
- for each section: whether you've started or completed it, the level you reached (Passed, Proficient or Advanced), whether you passed after re-teaching, and the completion date
- your total training time, your last activity date, and your growth from your starting baseline
- your Training Record, which also shows your coach, the date the standards were last reviewed, and for the practicum, how often you asked the coach for help and how much of the 25 minutes you used
Your employer does not see your session transcripts, your practicum conversation, your written answers, the notes explaining your scores, or whether you told us you're employed or returning to work.
Record verification
Each certificate has a verification link. Anyone with the link can confirm that the record is genuine. The page shows your name, your organization, the program name, the issue date and which sections you completed. It doesn't show your scores, levels or email address.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the program, and only as needed for their part of it:
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in |
| Lovable | Website hosting, program email delivery, and access to the AI models used for scoring and the practicum assistant |
| Google (Gemini models, through Lovable) | Scoring, session summaries and the practicum assistant |
| Vapi | Runs the voice coaching sessions |
| OpenAI | The language model behind the voice coaches (through Vapi) |
| Deepgram | Converts your speech to text (through Vapi) |
| ElevenLabs | The coaches' voices (through Vapi) |
| Stripe | Payments |
Vapi keeps call transcripts and call logs on its own systems under its own policies. The audio of your sessions is not recorded.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the security of the program.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and training records while your account is active, and for five years after it ends or is closed, so that your certificate stays verifiable and your employer can retrieve records it's entitled to.
Complimentary preview accounts are deleted automatically shortly after the preview session is completed.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your information
- correct information that's wrong
- close your account
Email info@emeraldeiacademy.com from the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days.
Closing your account means we deactivate it. You can no longer sign in, we stop sending you program email, and we no longer use your information for training or assessment. Your training records are kept for the period described under "How long we keep it," so your certificate stays verifiable and your employer keeps the records for the seat it paid for. At the end of that period, they're deleted.
If a law that applies to you gives you the right to have your information deleted, tell us and we'll handle your request as that law requires.
Age
The program is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Security
Your information is stored in a database that limits each person to the records they're allowed to see. All connections are encrypted. Only the program's administrator can access all records. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and tell you by email or in the program before the change takes effect.
